Lav Mrenović
Independent art writer and curator
Based in Belgrade, Serbia
My main interests revolve around non-traditional forms of art writing and relationship between contemporary art and politics.
I hold BA degree, and I am about to get a MA, from the History of Art department at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. My BA thesis dealt with the political potential of contemporary painting, while my MA thesis researched the influence of the globalized contemporary art world on Belgrade’s scene.
I am a member of AICA.
I was a resident of Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2024.
